
Mads Pedersen (born December 18, 1995, in Tølløse, Denmark) is a Danish professional road cyclist known for his power, resilience, and versatility in both Classics and Grand Tours. He turned professional in 2016 and rose to international prominence by winning the 2019 UCI Road World Championships, becoming the first Danish rider to claim the elite men’s road race world title.
Pedersen has built a reputation as a strong sprinter capable of handling tough terrain, making him competitive in one-day Classics as well as stage races. Riding for Trek–Segafredo (now Lidl–Trek), he has secured multiple stage wins at Grand Tours and victories in prestigious races, establishing himself as one of Denmark’s leading cyclists of his generation.
